Where is the proposed location?
Shoreline Park South across from the Recreational Center in Gulf Breeze.
How will this be funded?
This can be funded through government funds as well as entrance and swim event fees.
What are the benefits of having this pool?
Our residents from age 1 to 99 can come here to keep in shape in contrast to other sports facilities in Gulf Breeze which are used by more limited age groups such as soccer, baseball and football.
Will we be able to have swim meets here?
National and international swim meets can be held here due to the official olympic dimensions (50m X 25m) of the pools. Local swim meets can be held here as well.
What does having an Olympic pool mean for our aquatic athletes?
The swimmers would be able to train in their hometown rather than driving to Navarre and Escambia county for practice and meets.
